Barcelona Coral Asia is a project of intercultural encounters through music and songs created by Casa Asia, with the support of the Barcelona City Council since 2012, to promote the cultural and linguistic diversity of the city of Barcelona and create a space for intercultural encounters, dialogue and collaboration in Barcelona. It brings together around 40 singers from diverse cultural backgrounds who sing in Asian languages: Hindi, Urdu, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Bengali, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Persian, Nepalese, etc. The choir meets every Monday at Casal Transformadors. For this concert of choral singing, we will have an exceptional setting, the BASILICA DE SANTA MARIA DEL PI, and as a backdrop Criança, the latest large-format installation by the prestigious muralist and painter ARYZ, who, with the creation of the poster for this musical event, has wanted to join the Barcelona World Peace Forum in a altruistic and supportive way.
