An alumna of University College Dublin, Deepa has reported on the war in Ukraine, the repression of women’s rights in Afghanistan and the freedom struggle against the Islamic Republic led by Iranian women in the Women, Life, Freedom movement. She currently reports for The Guardian on Iran.
